• UTS was founded in 1910.
• There are approximately 640 students (an equal number of boys and girls) in grades 7 to 12.
• UTS graduates receive the OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) and a UTS Diploma
• 20 graduates are Rhodes Scholars; two are Nobel Laureates (Chemistry 1986, Economics 2001).
• We have 65+ staff approximately 60% of whom have graduate degrees.
• On average, 95% of UTS graduates become Ontario Scholars and 80% receive university scholarship offers.
• UTS is affiliated with the University of Toronto.
• UTS offers a liberal arts and science curriculum and stresses a rich and balanced academic program.
