Anand Mahadevan
Anand Mahadevan presented a talk at the
Science Teachers Association of Ontario annual conference on
November 12th, 2005 .
His talk titled "Galilei in your Classroom" described how drama
and theatre can be used to address issues of society, technology and
environment in the science classroom. The play, adapted from Bertholt
Brecht, will be performed in S5 Physics classrooms in the Spring of 2005.
Anand is also featured on the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's
Ask-a-Scientist website for the week of November 21st,
2005 .
Anand regularly answers questions relating to Biology and Neuroscience
for the HHMI website. These questions come from school and university
students, teachers, members of the public from around the world.
