ATHLETIC FACILITIES
Ridley Fitness Centre: Donated by UTS
alumnus John B. Ridley (Class of 1916), the Ridley Fitness
Centre is a state-of-the-art facility with a wide variety of
modern fitness equipment to increase aerobic capacity, strength,
endurance, and flexibility. The facility is used for classes as
well as a high-level training area for sports teams.
Robert Street (Aura Lee) Field: Donated to
the University of Toronto for the use of UTS students, Robert
Street Field is the home for many of our outdoor activities. The
Field is located across the street from the school building and
contains a playing field and four tennis courts.
Pool: The 20 yard, 4-lane pool, located in
the UTS school building, is widely used for classes and swim
teams.
Gymnasia: UTS has its own gym and occasional
access to two gyms belonging to OISE/UT. In addition, UTS
students and staff have access to the University of Toronto's
Athletics facilities on Spadina and Harbord.
Varsity Arena: UTS has use of the University
of Toronto's indoor Varsity Arena on Bloor Street for its ice
hockey season.
