BU Teaching Position 2019-2020 Academic Year
UTS is looking for a dynamic educator with Intermediate/Senior qualifications in Chemistry and at least five (5) years of teaching experience, who thrives on the challenge of teaching bright, highly motivated students. This full-time (100% FTE) Bargaining Unit appointment includes an opportunity to work with MT Candidates.
Applicants must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and hold Honours Specialist Qualifications in Chemistry and/or the equivalent graduate or post-graduate qualifications in Chemistry. Applicants with a demonstrated ability to teach Chemistry at the intermediate through the advanced senior level, and to mentor teacher candidates will be given priority consideration.
Start Date: September 1, 2019 (Start of 2019-2020 academic year)
Salary range: Compensation is tied to the TDSB grid and considers qualifications and experience. In addition, the compensation package includes applicable teaching service and additional degree supplements in accordance with the UTS-OSSTF Collective Agreement.
