Everything you need for the UTS Entrance Test

Students writing their UTS Entrance Test must have completed and submitted their application on or before December 1, 2025.

The application portal will be deactivated at 11:59 p.m. (EST) on the evening of December 1 and no further changes can be made.

Students arriving late will forfeit any missed time. 

Students must remain in the exam hall for the full duration of the UTS test and may not leave early.

University of Toronto Exam Centre
255 McCaul Street, Toronto

The UTS Entrance Test is not written at UTS.

The nearest TTC Subway Station to the U of T Exam Centre is Queen’s Park. 

Public parking lots are located on Murray Street, University Avenue, or Dundas Street. 

If driving, please take care not to block entrances or private laneways. Families are encouraged to find parking further from the U of T Exam Centre and walk the last couple of blocks. We are expecting 200-250 test-takers at each start time.

 

What to bring

  1. Photocopy of identification document (e.g. photocopy of passport, photocopy of birth certificate). This will be collected. Do not bring originals.

  2. Printout of UTS application confirmation page (emailed to you after submitting the application). 

 

Do not bring

  • Food or drink, with the exception of a water bottle. There is no snack break. If you require medical accommodations, please contact [email protected] 
  • Calculators, rulers, dictionaries, paper of any kind
  • Cell phones, smart watches, smart glasses, or any digital devices. Any such devices will be collected upon arrival. 
  • Pencil cases, backpacks, or large bags. Pencils and erasers will be provided.

 

Important Information

  • Due to congestion, please avoid parking on McCaul Street. There are paid parking lots on Murray Street, University Avenue, or Dundas Street. 
  • Please arrive and pick up only during the allotted time. Students will not be permitted to leave early even if they have finished the test.
  • Parents, guardians, and family members must leave the building during the test.
