Since 1910, UTS has championed inclusivity, perseverance, team spirit and commitment to wellness through athletics. Our students are empowered to make positive connections to healthy living that will activate them for life. Our tradition of excellence shines through our Athletics Program.

Athletics is essential to the UTS program

Our UTS Blues teams compete proudly at the city, regional and  provincial levels.

  • Our Foundation teams are members of the Small Schools Athletic Federation (SSAF).
  • Our high school teams are members of the Toronto District Colleges Athletic Association (TDCAA).
  • Teams and individual athletes qualifying to compete in the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) events.

Distinction recognizing commitment, effort, team spirit, attitude, sports(person)ship are recognized through several UTS awards including:

  • Athlete of the Month
  • Athletes of the Year
  • Career Athletes
  • Foundation Awards

These are awarded throughout the year and at our athletic banquet for high school athletes at the end of the year.

UTS offers a wide array of teams to allow students to participate in sports which will challenge their minds and bodies.
