Nicole Campbell '05 | Grape Witches
Nicole has been working in wine for a really long time. After winemaking stints in France & Australia, extensive study, and a decade selling wine to the country's top restaurants, she realized what most excited her about the industry wasn't accessible to anyone but the most in-the-know. She founded Grape Witches in 2015 to change that.
The dream? To share off-the-beaten track flavours, places and producers with a sense of fun and inclusivity. Today, Grape Witches is Toronto's leading bottle shop with two locations, a cutting-edge wine agency, an extensive event business, and an annual grant to support up-and-coming BIPOC wine professionals. Nicole is a firm believer in small business as the backbone of community, hospitality as integral third spaces, and letting your curiosity and values steer the way to creative fulfillment, success and joy.
